Are you using ppp-2.2.0? If not, that is almost certainly your problem. When I upgraded to
1.3.xx, I was using ppp-1-point-something, and it would report no ppp when I knew there was.
You need to upgrade to ppp-2.2.0 ( I recomment 2.2.0e ).
