I am running with a 2940uw (integrated on the MB from IWILL), The
drives I'm using are SCSI-2&SCSI-1 (Fuji 530mb, Maxtor 340mb, CDC
304mb, 3 cdrom drives). I'm using 1.3.92 kernel with no problems (yet
:-). The processor is a P166 w/16mb EDO ram. I'm waiting for Seagate
to start shipping the Ultra Wide (ST 34371W) drives - expected to be
avail late June or Early July. Quantum says around Oct for their
Ultra Wide drives (engineering samples avail in Sept - 4 Gig @ approx
$676 :-))). By the end of June I hope that 2.0 will be stable enough
for the UW drives. Just think - 40mb/s (max peak) xfer rate, faster,
faster, faster,...
