Kernel 1.99.10 + xosview

Hi,

I have just upgraded to 1.99.10 and noticed that xosview is
broken (Segmentation faults). I did not use it for a few weeks,
but in the 1.3.90's kernels I remember it was running.

The segfaults are reproduceable on two machines, one with a
monolithic kernel and one with a modularized one. Don't know
why.
