I said last week that I would send some info about CMU's depot
package over the weekend; I got caught up in something else, but
didn't completely forget. The urls to look at are:

Depot allows you to keep all of the files in one package together; it
also allows many other nifty things (like keeping a single copy of
some files and symlinking remote NFS servers to it).
Please do not direct responses to the kernel mailing list as this is
not a kernel issue!
(Note: I have nothing to do with the depot project, despite the
.cmu.edu. I'm merely a satisfied user)
