The ASCQ indicates "Illegal mode for this track" : you cannot simply
dump digital audio in data mode (actually reading DA frames off an audi=
o
CD requires the use of vendor-unique commands -- cf. the cdda2wav packa=
ge).

Here is the relevant excerpt from SCSI-2 :

When not performing audio playback, if the logical block address requ=
ested
is not within a data track the command shall be terminated with CHECK
CONDITION status. The sense key shall be set to BLANK CHECK and the
additional sense code set to ILLEGAL MODE FOR THIS TRACK. This applies=
to
audio-combined and audio media.
