Swapping over NFS is a darn good plan for building machines that only
swap in exception situations and that shall have as few 'mechanical mov=
ing'
parts as possible, since those parts normally fail first ... (*)

(*) provided swapping only takes place on special occasion, for example
the BOFH logging in and starting EMACS.
