I wasn't exactly something that'll make it into the source tree. :*)
I just wanted to present "yet another idea" that could be useful for
something like, say, a "web engine" for building a Linux kernel over
the Internet given the config parameters that the user wishes to set.
Have a look at http://linux.early.com for an example of this
phenomenon, except that they use a rather dated kernel (1.2.1). I
told them about this already and they said that they might upgrade
whenever they can afford time.
