Any one use a Moto BitsurferPro with ppp with 2.0.14+ successfully?

Does any one have a 2.0.14 or greater kernel with 2.2.0f that is actully
able to establish a PPP seesion via a Moto BitsurferPro. Every one I know
that has tried this (ok, 2 people) have gotten "Serial line is looped
back". I use ppp 2.2.0e on both 1.3.97 and 1.99.9 kernels with out a
problem. I would like to upgrade asap, but not if I loose my ISDN
altogether or get a blazing 0.8KB/s 8-)
