I re-seated the ethernet card; I had been inside the case earlier
in the day to upgrade a modem's firmware, and I guess the card got
jostled a bit :-(

Anyways. My RTK8029 card works now :-)

I like the patch too. Package it and ship it :-)

Would somebody make sure that RTK8029 support is clearly listed
in the docs! I've already seen a bunch of messages on this topic
on USENET.
