Hi!

I have a strange Problem with my brandnew CD-Recordable (Philips CDD2000).
While I burn the Image to the CDR sometimes (every second time) the kernel
"forget" the CD-Recorder device (itīs no longer listet with
"cat /proc/scsi/scsi") and the CDR-Disk is unusable.
After a reboot the CDR donīt appears. I have to make a "add-single-device"
(scsi.c) to use the CD-Recorder. If I boot DOS, the CDR is usable without
any Problems.

- Everytime I want to burn an image to a CD I switch to single-user-mode to
minimize the loadavg.
- I use xcdroast and/or cdwrite (both have same problems)

Any hinds? Is is a known problem?

best regards
