Including fixing all the programs that broke with previous libc upgrades ?

The insmod patch is likely to be:

* much smaller to download
* much easier to install
* much less likely to break other stuff

Also, insmod should be patched anyway (in addition to fixing libc), if
only to give a more informative error message (like "incompat. libc"),
as there are likely to be a lot of older libcs around.
