I have problem with getting the sound to work with 2.1.6 (it was broken in
2.1.5 ) but i figured 2.1.6 would compile which it did, however:
cat soundfile.au >/dev/audio
Sound: DMA (output) timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error?
dmesg reports the soundcard (soundblaster 32 (AWE stuff disabled)) as
usual (i.e. the way it did in 2.1.3, last kernel that didn't break the
sound).
I remember that some of you (myself included) experienced similar messages
somewhere in the 1.3.xxx series so i'm sure it can be fixed.. ;)
Does anyone have a clue as to how to go about fixing this ...
