I don't know if it is related, but since I upgraded my kernel from 2.0.17
to 2.0.24 I'm getting those messages in my logfile:

Oct 30 04:08:43 ax kernel: ICMP redirect from 129.2.153.44
Oct 30 07:08:17 ax kernel: ICMP redirect from 129.2.153.44
Oct 30 08:08:13 ax kernel: ICMP redirect from 129.2.153.44
Oct 30 10:07:29 ax kernel: ICMP redirect from 129.2.153.44
Oct 31 06:07:40 ax kernel: ICMP redirect from 129.2.153.44
Oct 31 13:07:07 ax kernel: ICMP redirect from 129.2.153.44
Nov 1 09:08:35 ax kernel: ICMP redirect from 129.2.153.44
Nov 1 16:09:01 ax kernel: ICMP redirect from 129.2.153.44
Nov 2 04:06:51 ax kernel: ICMP redirect from 129.2.153.44

I'm not sure if this is my box just recording them, screwy router or
the other machine being screwy up. The 129.2.153.44 is an alpha
box running Linux and being on the same floor in dorm, and thus
on the same net (my IP is 129.2.152.177 + 255.255.254.0 netmask)
