modules in 2.1.7

Hi!

I have a version of the commercial OSS sound driver for Linux and can't get
it load it's modules. Also, with 2.1.7, it's no longer possible for me to load
the isdn4linux stuff as modules (modprobe breaks with an Error No. <xxxxxxxx>,
where xxxxxxxx is a long integer number). The README for the OSS drivers men-
tions a necessary patch for "insmod", but I couldn't find it.

Any pointers?

Please reply by mail, too, 'cause I'm only on "...-digest".
