Yesterday I wanted to run a second hand modem on my Linux-machine without
having any docs for it. After 4 ours and the Help of Windows 95 auto-detection
I had the right configuration.
Isn't there any Auto-Detection tool for Modems under Linux???
btw. This modem is a fax modem. but mgetty or efax only make a
a bad fax resolution of 198 x and something - I don't want that
how can i fax in a better resolution (300 dpi?? )
