Hmm..I have similier problem with my GUS.
Also gmod says ultrasound not detected and when I play using mikmod
at 44000hz it says IRQ/DRQ error but when I play at mono/8000Hz it do
very funny sounds..(parts of song are mixed)..it hapends until driver change
after verifyarea was changed...
