kernel panic

Hello
I've an external iomega jaz 1GB connected to a ah2940 SCSI card.
In kernel 2.0.2[4-6] with the sequence "insmod scsi_mod;insmod
aic7xxx" I got the following:

Kernel panic: scsi0: BRKADRINT, error 0x8, seqaddr 0x4c.
