I've been getting messages with broken headers, extra newlines in the
middle of the header, causing part of the header to be mistaken as part of
the message.

It seems to originate from a couple of people. My guess is it is someone
who is posting a message and the headers get munged on the way to vger,
which happily sends it to everyone... just a thought..
