Stupid question about tcl/tk

Hello everybody,I know it is out of subject,but....
I got tcl/tk in my /usr path. When I download some programs and
I do ./configure the script exit telling me I don't have them !!
So I read my ld.so.conf and /usr/lib is there !!
I do ldconfig -v and I see they are in /usr/lib !!
I can't find the bug. Help me if you like ;).
