re: problems with routing

Ok.. maybe I spoke too soon. It looks like I'm getting the same routing
problems as a lot of other current linux-kernel readers are getting as well.
Anyone have any ideas how to get this to work "properly"? I think its pretty
poor that this auto-interface configure "feature" was added without any
automatic backwards compatibility (if that indeed is what happens, as it
looks like.)
