netstat -r in 2.1.1[56]

Has anybody else noticed that 'netstat -r' and 'cat /proc/net/route' no
longer show the route to the loopback interface ?
It is in the kernel tables 'cos it works and you can delete it, and re-add
it, and it won't let you add it twice etc...
Strange ! Worked fine in 2.1.14.
