I've uploaded the latest version of my new NFS implementation to
ftp://ftp.mathematik.th-darmstadt.de/pub/linux/okir/dontuse .
It features a completely rewritten RPC layer that supports both
UDP and TCP, as well as alternative authentication flavors.
The NFS client now performs write-back, which dramatically improves
the speed of write operations. It also contains a kernel-based
NFS daemon and NLM lock daemon.
