strange kernel net message with 2.0.26

I got a strange message in my logs the other day:

Dec 22 18:32:40 fuzzbox kernel: Lost timer or fin packet in tcp_fin.

There weren't any other messages in my logs for 8 hours either side of this
one, so I don't have any context.

Local ethernet, ppp link to outside world (up at the time for about 8 hours),
nothing special, v2.0.26.
