With all the changes to route, why does the loopback route no longer get
displayed in the kernel routing table when calling 'route' without any
arguments or when calling 'netstat -r'. Adding the loopback route works
fine if you give it all the parameters, and testing the route with
traceroute shows it's obviously working, but it doesn't show in the routing
table. Just curious. Thanks.
