samba: complete freeze of 2.0.27 on alpha?

Hello,

I just installed RedHat 4.0 on another Jensen system which is used as a
fileserver (using samba) for some W95 clients - works fine, until I try to
copy a 36MB file from the client to the samba-exported directory - then the
machine completelt freezes, no console switch, no shift/ctrl-scrollock etc..

This only happens when copying from the DOS box, not from the explorer
(which is slower).

Any ideas?
