select_table code still used here and there (2.1.23)

Hum -

Has this been discussed already? My mail has been erratic, and I've
missed a few of the recent digests. Anyway, 2.1.23 still has remnants
of the old select() system here and there - a few subsystems, notably
the sound, isdn and atari joystick drivers still look for
"select_table". Is this being fixed?
