The sound driver "supports" a way to enter the parameters on insmod
command line.
The problem with it was that about an year ago almost 40% of all
problems reported to me were caused because users messed with this
feature. It's just too difficult to use. For thes reason I decided to stop
supporting the feature and removed all documentation about it from
Readme.linux. This information is still available in old driver source
distributions (linux 1.2.13) if you like to try it.
