That's the way to go, the package at
ftp://ftp.csua.berkeley.edu/pub/cypherpunks/filesystems/linux/
which Trevor Johnson pointed out does it exactly that way. It adds
IDEA support and fixes a few things. I highly recommend it. It consists
of patches to 2.0.11.
