I've had the same problem with Cyclades boards. What happens is that
ps stores a table of mappings of major/minor numbers to device names
in /etc/psdevtab. It was likely generated before you had configured
the Digiboard so it doesn't have the info for the ttyD? cud? devices.
When this happens to me with a Cyclades card I just remove the psdevtab
file and then run ps again:
rm /etc/psdevtab
ps
This rebuilds the psdevtab file with all the needed info.
