ttyS00 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a TI16750 <---
ttyS01 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a TI16750 <---
ttyS02 at 0x03e8 (irq = 4) is a 16450
When in fact, it _should_ read (for me at least):
tty00 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A <---
tty01 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A <---
tty02 at 0x03e8 (irq = 4) is a 16450
Of course, the solution was to go back into rc.serial and uncomment
the proper lines and uncomment the line in rc.S to run rc.serial. <s>
I think this is unnecessary since I've never had to do it before and,
by golly, I know I'm right. :)
Is there a better solution for this, or am I facing certain rc.serial
for the rest of my life? What benefits are we gaining by missing
proper detection (or is it just my machine)?
What I'm running is irrelevant (isn't it?) 'cept the examples above
came from 2.1.29 and 2.1.27 respectively.
