I've made a new version of the parport patch. It should soon be available
in the standard place:

This version includes all the bugfixes that I was sent for the 970330
patch. I'm fairly happy with it now, and I hope to have it merged with
the distribution kernel fairly soon. It's against 2.1.30. As usual,
please send me patches and comments.
At the moment there is some stuff in the Config.in files that "menuconfig"
and "xconfig" may not grok. "make config" should be OK, and if anybody
would like to update menuconfig and xconfig, I'm sure their respective
authors would be glad to receive patches.
