I ran it on my two machines once; one had a mono card and mono
monitor, and it did not seem to do anything. The other has SVGA, and
it worked. I guess that means that it writes directly to the screen,
and the mono screen is at a different address. It ran a long time on
the one with SVGA, but did update the screen; there is a readout
showing progress and what test its running.
