SYN flood

Hi,

In make config and make menuconfig I only got the
CONFIG_SYN_COOKIES option and not the CONFIG_RST_COOKIES which is
supposedly better. Is there a reason? Once I compile it into the kernel is
it working or do I have to turn it on with ipfwadm ?
Kernel 2.0.29 + patch-2.0.30.gz
