I have not seen note of it anywhere else, except David Miller
occasionally mentioning his own CVS repository, but is there sucha thing
for Linux kernel currently? Something along the lines of what OpenBSD
and FreeBSD do for kernel development? not to say Linux should adopt
their code adoption policies, but CVS could be useful to the Linux kernel
project as a whole possibly.

I'm not sure how this would fit into the usual Linux methodologies for
adding thigns to the kernel, but it woudl make things easier for
developers to watch code changes as they happen, see where collisions
with their own patches occur as the kernel progresses, and a few other
things.
