Unable to handle kernel paging request

Folks,

[Details of problem appended at end]

We have a system that keeps falling over with kernel page request errors.

Have tried numerous approaches to try and fix this problem - with no
success.

I have reinstalled Linux (RH 4.0) and rebuilt kernels on both of the SCSI
disks. I have also swapped out the NCR SCSI controller for an AHA2920, to
no avail.

Do you have any suggestions as to what is causing this problem?
Incidentally, we have two other (almost) identical systems running
perfectly!

Thanks,

Dave...
