I've been seeing this kind of strange behavior now since well before 2.0
was released. Fire up ppp0, fire up ppp1, disconnect ppp1, disconnect
ppp0, reconnect what should be ppp0 and it gets ppp1, fire up a second
concurrent ppp channel and *it* gets ppp0!

Come on, now, you can't tell me that's meant to make sense...
