Hello David,

v0.30 seems to be the most reliable version but on our news server we'll
also get lockups after about 5 - 7 days. I tried to merge all the changes
you did in the v0.25 driver into the v0.40 driver which is currently up
and running for 36 hours without a big bang.....

I also seems that the modified v0.40 driver has less connections in close
or fin_wait status for longer that 30 - 60 seconds...

thats all I can tell at the moment...
