2.1.35 SMP

My SMP machine died again. I am about 80 road-miles away so I can't
get to work to restart it tonight. I logged into this machine, same
kernel, no SMP via one of my VAXen 1200 baud (gawd) dialup modems.

It doesn't answer to pings and it doesn't answer a modem so I'll bet
that it is simply very dead.... probably spinning forever for something
to happen that won't....
