Nope. The current driver seems to work fine unless there is a SCSI
Bus error at which time all bets are off. Since I don't have any
external devices on this machine, I don't get any SCSI Bus errors.

Look, they ship 2,000 boards per week to Windows and Win-NT users
who are trying to make their machines usable. Linux is well below
the noise floor. You need to find an advocate at Adaptec. Look at
the excellent work done on the BusLogic board. This was all possible
because there are advocates at BusLogic.
