Dear Linux Kernel Activists,
just to say I've fixed a #include and a #define
in my previously announced patched ufs driver,
so that types.h is always available in byteorder.h,
and heavy debug mode is not automatically set when byteswapping.

Summary:
==> Allows a Linux PC to read UFS disks from Sun <==
it works on both 2.0 and 2.1,
and does byteswap *cleanly* and efficiently,
plus it adds generic byteswap procedures in linux/byteorder.h.
Because it works on both 2.0 and 2.1.

I can't give a patch, but instead have files to replace.
Works fine on 2.0.x; everything *should* work fine as for 2.1.x,
but you'd better keep a backup of your linux source tree.

Again, the modified stuff is at my web page on the following URL:
http://www.eleves.ens.fr:8080/home/rideau/files/linux-swab-ufs.tgz

Please send feedback/comments by e-mail to rideau@ens.fr,
as I'm not subscribed to the list
[would be ufs developers go u2fs-dev@mathi.uni-heidelberg.DE]
