RE: profiling the kernel, no /proc/profile

Hi,

I'm running version 2.0.27, I've done a 'make config' and enabled kernel
profiling, rebuilt the kernel, rebooted (booted with profile=2 using
the 'append' option in LILO, also tried profile=4) but I still
do not have a /proc/profile, any ideas ?
