I've dabbled in iBCS more than a little. My biggest problem was
formulating reasonable bug reports. Unfortunately, strace didn't
work, for example.

Also, I didn't really know my way around SCO. Eventually, I wiped
SCO off my other system and loaded linux onto it. At least with
linux it's useful to me. [Never did get my old copy of Oracle
6 running properly under linux, though.]

Finally, I was frustrated by the lack of integration between iBCS
and the kernel. I'd get iBCS working, then need to hop to a non-iBCS
kernel version to get something else working (e.g. ipx), then ...

[I use lotus notes, java and oracle -- so I've more than a minor
interest in the outcome of this... just no idea what I can contribute
that's useful.]
