Just to let you know:
I am using a Cyrix 6x86 P166+ with a ISA ne2000 without any problem.
I've tried it with some 2.0 kernels (0&27) and 2.1.[27-36].
2.0 kernels were not patched, and 2.1 kernels were tried with and without
the Cyrix patches.
The only noticeable thing with my setup is that the ne2000 uses IRQ3
instead of IRQ11.
