Anyway, the question is simple: Is there any global plan for the
development of Linux 2.2 and beyond? I'm talking about something more
solid than "World domination" (though that is a nice idea...)
After all, we have pretty much come down to a handful of core
developers: Linus, David, Alan, Ted - what are you guys working on? Any
specific goals or are we now just sort of drifting along, improving
performance and reliability and incorporating various bug-fixes.
The only goal I see ahead is SMP which is sort of a short-term one.
