2.1.42 and locking bug(s)

I'll say 2.1.42 is a step in the right direction towards fixing the
memory/locking problems in the last few 2.1.x kernels, however I was
able to get it lockup tight with heavy netscape use and with repeated
recycling of X under xdm. I was happy to see this kernel actually swap
out over 15 megs unlike the previous ones which seemed to not be able
to swap out more than 4-6 megs. 2.1.42 still has the locking/memory
problems, but it does take more to get it to lock tight.
