Hi!

What is needed to use nfs files-system ( client side ) ?
I have kernel support for nfs-FS and networking ?

It seems that it needs rpc.portmap running ... ?

kernel 2.0.30 didnt require this .... ?

Basicly what I do is :

I mount the root file-system via nfs
then I set up localhost on lo device and run rpc.portmap
( rpc.portmap is from nfs-server-2.2beta26 )

then I try to mount some further files-systems over nfs
all but the first mounts ( mount 2.6g ) fail with Segmentation fault

Without rpc.portmap the first mount hangs a while saying some
error about portmapping ....
Without setting up localhost it says something about it and moves to
the portmap problem part ...

Thanx for any reply !
