Lilo problem solved

My lilo problem turned out to be a bad harddrive. I heard some
clicking like the lifters in a 71 Chevy, so I asked Maxtor to
replace the drive. The new drive took lilo fine.

Now I'm trying to compile the newest ftape (ftape-3.03b-970603)
which supports Ditto 2GB tape drives. It is not a part of the kernel
like the other versions of ftape. I'm having a few problems with that.
If anyone on this list has done this successfully and wouldn't mind
giving me some pointers, please e-mail me at vicki@traveller.com.
I'd certainly appreciate it.

BTW, thanks for all the responses to my post. I had run lilo, but I
appreciate the effort.
