Aiee scheduling interrupt error

I'm getting this error, and logs and the screen provide no clue as to
what is going on.

Linux 2.0.30 / Slackware 3.2 (libc 5.4.23)
2 BusLogic Flashpoint LT PCI cards
3com 3c900 PCI ("Boomerang"), using Becker's new 2.1 driver that
supposedly
works with 2.0 also
3c509 ISA
128MB RAM
Several SCSI and 1 EIDE disk

This is a news server, and I'm hitting the disks pretty hard.
