Oops in slhc in 2.0.23

I don't know if this has since been fixed, but here goes:
As near as I can tell (after the fact), this address is actually within
the slhc module... THIS DOES NOT RESULT IN A PANIC. THIS IS A PROBLEM
FOR US. We need this to AT LEAST panic, so the panic=30 can kick in!!
When this happenes, the modems just SIT there... still connected, but
nothing goes through, it no longer answers ethernet either.
