I've tried to upgrade everything to the versions listed in
Documentation/Changes. My kernel config is fairly simple, with most of
the fs's in modules, and none of them were loaded. No sound.
It was a bunch of stuff that looked like <[c2....]>. I don't know if
anybody else has seen this.
While I'm posting, I'd like to thank all of you who've spent time
working on the kernel. You've given us all a great OS to work with.
